Game Day

Well fellas...game day is finally here. Thursday night was just one game, so I'm looking forward to a whole day and night of games. Of course, I'm at work so I'm stuck getting updates on my computer all day. But whatever, it works for me. And I have a tv a few offices over so I'll be back and forth a bunch I'm sure (or just over there all day).

Anyway, good luck...but at the same time be prepared to feel the wrath of my automatically-computer-drafed-super-team. Haha. The comp actually did pretty good for me, minus a decent QB. But o well, it should be entertaining. And A-Rod, I hope that Indy tandem doesnt pull that shit all year.

I'm out.

Splanation

so it looks to me like once a guy on your team has a game 5 minutes out, he becomes "locked" and you can't start/sit him until after the monday night game. this is about the only fair way to do this, (imagine if aaron could now sit reggie wayne and get some more wr pts. no fair) but yahoo did a really shitty job of explaining it.

as for total points, i hope everyone is on board. it's gonna be fun, we get to play 7 games a week (you vs everyone else) as opposed to one, and super sick days will be rewarded. (just ask aaron, fucker). the shorter than basball season (you get 170 starts a year in football; it takes ONLY A WEEK to get that many starts in baseball) and having no real ceiling on how much you can score a week means that anyone can make a killer run late in the season. Plus, with all our teams so jacked, this is gonna be about who worked matchups, that flex spot, injuries, and lady luck. we'll really see whose team was the nasty. if that doesn't sound more fun than having four 8-8 teams behind Brian, i can't help you.

Roster Rules

All Team Managers Read This!

That is the link for the roster rules. Basically what this means is:

1. You can trade bench players at any time.
2. Any Intra-roster moves must be completed 5 minutes before the start of the first game of that day.
3. Trades of active players must be completed before that player has any stats for the current week.
4. The current week resets at 3:00 AM ET on Monday.
This means that if you have a player that gets stats in the monday night game, he cannot be traded until after the week resets on the following monday. (We think, well just have to see but thats how it seems from this article)

I think this is it. The yahoo fantasy help page can actually answer most of your questions.

Nice work on the draft everyone and good luck on the season.
