First, i think it would be great if Mr. Honcho could play, and while i am only one of 8, i am willing to be very flexible with the draft. what about late night? 11/12 pm during the week? nothing is perfect for everybody, but surely there is some slot in there where we can all be in front of a computer for an hour.
I agree with everyone's reason for wanting h2h. that IS why h2h is fun. I'll just give my opinion so we have another to think about:
In football, our teams will only score 16 times. with h2h playoffs, that's only 14 times. I think you could win or lose totally at the mercy of the schedule. there are also only 8 of us, so i think there is still lots of shit talking and a lot of moving up and down the ranks. h2h scoring can be inconsistant, but we have seen that hundreds of baseball games can smooth it out. i don't think we'll get so lucky with football, but again, I HAVE DONE NEITHER AND HAVE NO IDEA. i know h2h can be more competitive, but someone is gonna be last in week 13 no matter what. ask jeff. (sorry bro) I know in h2h you can loose with an awesome week and win with a shitty week, whereas in tp you can do ok every week and slowly fall behind. I'm just taking a hunch that is is fun to just take on the league as a whole every week; big weeks will make you rise up quickly, and bad weeks will make you fall hard. either way, after defense and kickers, we are only playing 64 player, who only play once a week! no one is gonna jwest crush us like if we dared to play baseball total points with him. i want to take u all on every week. after a few weeks, i'll know who is above me and who's runnning back i want to have a bad day or whatnot.
look, this is no big deal, and we will have fun either way. i hope all 8 can play.

Ok well heres whats goin on....
we cant do the draft just late one night because yahoo doesnt have any slots like that. So its looking like it will be next saturday morning...ill let you know about the hour. What this means is that bailey will either have to drop out...or he can pre-rank his players and let yahoo draft for him.
If he decideds to drop out then we will have to do total points either way. But considering the fact that Jwest and Jeff have not voted, we are stuck at 3-3. Being that josh is so damned persuasive...i may be willing to swing my vote to total points and give it a shot this season.
i prefer head to head with the winner that week getting a win in the loss column and the loser getting one loss in the loss column to determine standings, and NOT the way fantasy baseball was set up with getting a point for every category and then falling behind that many games! that was gay, (even though i would prolly be still losing, there's just no motivation when you get that far behind). as for the total points that is usually the tie breaker if people tie in records, so you still want to have as many points as you can, but that would serve as a tie breaker.
oh and as for the draft no late night drafts unless it's on a friday or saturday night, some of us have to work early. but other than that again, im good anytime after 6 mon-fri and anytime on weekends.
I have had a change of heart, and now want total points. Im not really comfortable with the playoff system.
We have 8 days until the first game of the season. When is the draft going to be Aaron?
